     We hope your family can join us for a Meridian/Eagle Community Easter Egg Hunt for ages infant-6th Grade. We will stage different areas for different grade levels.      On Monday, May 1st 2017, Christi Crux Vocal Ensemble and Brass Ensemble from Concordia Portland will perform at Friendship Celebration at 7:00pm. We need your help! Host families are needed to house the vocal ensemble members overnight on Monday night. Students are matched 2 or more per household. Breakfast is provided by host families along with a sack lunch for each student. If you can help with lodging, please contact Linda Hausch (941-4442) or Sue Buuck (440-8305)

      Thrivent Financial presents “Savvy Social Security Planning” a free workshop for Baby Boomers on how to maximize retirement income. Mark your calendars for May 8th. There will be two workshops here at FCLC-one at 12noon and one at 7:00pm.  Please call 208-938-1171 or email mailto:lisa.kraft@thrivent.comto reserve a place for yourself and a guest. If you can’t make it to a workshop on May 8th, there are two others: Tuesday May 9th at the Meridian District Central Library on Cherry Lane in Meridian or Tuesday May 9th at King of Glory Lutheran Church on Maple Grove Road in Boise.

     Women’s Breakfast! Saturday April 29, 2017 at 9:30 am All women are invited. Question: "Does God Speak to Women?" Program: Linda Varnes and Bonni Shikrallah will be guiding participants (in small groups) to explore Scriptures to gain a greater understanding of the ways God has spoken and still speaks to women. Donnette House will be helping and anyone who would like to help with breakfast should contact her.
