All high school students, including present 8th grade students going into high school, are invited to register for a summer mission trip to Phoenix, Arizona from July 12-20. Give a week of your summer to volunteer and serve others! On our road trip down to Arizona, we'll stop at Bryce Canyon National Park. We'll stop and stay at our host church, St. Luke Lutheran Church in Mesa. Our work sites include:
- Feed My Starving Children
- Sunshine Acres Children's Home
- Habitat for Humanity
- St. Mary's Food Bank
- And more!
During our work week, we'll have some "fun in the sun" including:
- Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Water Park
- Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Game
- Goldfield Ghost Town
- and more!
Your deposit and registration fee will cover your travel, lodging, and entertainment expenses. It will cover most of your meal expenses, too. You will be responsible to pay for certain meals during our travel.
A deposit of $50 is required at the time of registration. The remainder ($250) is due by July 1st.
Registration for this mission trip will end on Sunday, March 17th. If you have additional questions, please contact DCE Tim Kaufmann.
